HIV411.org, Louisiana's response to the growing epidemic.
10/12/2009

Recently launched website helps Louisianans with information about HIV & STIs.

The Louisiana Office of Public Health has recently launched a new campaign to help educate our state on topics of HIV & other Sexually Transmitted Infections. HIV411.org offers 27/7 access to information about how HIV affects both ourselves and our state. This includes basic information on how the virus is spread, many ways you can protect yourself, and current statistics of Louisiana (We are currently 5th in the nation for highest case rates).

The website also contains information about agencies across the state you can turn to for HIV testing and other education materials. If you have more questions regarding HIV/STIs, you can always contact Acadiana CARES for more information.
