Help us and Tobacco Free Living to Plan Event at Acadiana CARES.

Acadiana CARES was awarded a grant from Louisiana Public Health Institute to work with The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco Free Living (TFL) to host a TFL HIV/AIDS Advocacy Event.
Acadiana CARES was awarded a grant from Louisiana Public Health Institute to work with The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco Free Living (TFL) to host a TFL HIV/AIDS Advocacy Event. The theme of the TFL HIV/AIDS Advocacy Event is “Tobacco: A Shot to Your HAART” and the overarching goals of the “Tobacco: A Shot to Your HAART” Advocacy Event are:
• To identify and build a statewide network of HIV/AIDS cause supporters to serve as advocates for future local smoke-free ordinances
• To capitalize on these advocates for an expanded stronger statewide smoke-free law
• To promote cessation and cessation services to the HIV/AIDS population within Louisiana
