Community Building
Acadiana CARES operates an MPowerment
Program called FM Acadiana. FM is
a new organization in town that is for
and bi young gay Men. The purpose of the
group is to establish a new and
innovative community built on mutual
respect, honesty, diversity and
acceptance. As an alternative to the bar
scene, FM strives to provide a welcoming
environment in which young MSM can
flourish and build a stronger gay
community. FM is a place to be your
self, to have fun with new friends and
old friends, to develop the community
that you want and to find meaningful
relationships with other men like you.
FM is a place you can come to know
yourself and your community. For more
information about FM Acadiana, please
