AcadianaCares is a client-centered organization — and each client comes to us with unique needs and circumstances. Our case managers work one-on-one with clients to connect them with resources and support to makes a positive difference in the lives of people affected by substance abuse, poverty, HIV/AIDS and homelessness.
Our professional case managers work confidentially with clients to help them achieve and maintain health, stability and self-sufficiency.
AcadianaCares provides onsite counseling, as well as referrals to community professionals.
We help people access transportation to receive medical care and social services.
The Food Bank provides food and nutritional supplements to supplement food stamps and other nutrition assistance programs.
The medication assistance program gives clients access to non-HIV medications.
The Direct Financial Assistance program provides short-term financial assistance for mortgage, rent, utilities and other critical needs to prevent homelessness.
